This Privacy Notice applies to the Africa United Nations Knowledge Management Hub (AKMH)  only.

Privacy of Personal Information

Generally, out of respect for the privacy of its users, the United Nations refrain from obtaining personal information from users without their explicit consent.

However, by accessing the Africa UN Knowledge Management Hub, certain information about the users, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the Site, the software used, referring pages, and the time spent, along with other similar information, may be collected anonymously and stored on our servers. These will not specifically identify the User.

The information will be used internally only for website traffic analysis. If the User provides unique identifying information, such as name, address, and other information on forms stored on this hub, such information will be used only for statistical purposes and will not be published for general access.

This is also true for personal information (for example, email and postal addresses) sent to the email address of this hub. This Hub does not send emails to users unless specifically authorized by them.

However, the United Nations assumes no responsibility for the security of the above information.
